The Monetary Policy Committee of the Reserve Bank of India met on 4th, 5th and 6th August for its second meeting of 2020-21. The key decisions taken in the Monetary Policy Committee meeting are:–
1. The repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) has been kept unchanged at 4.00%.
2. The reverse repo rate under the LAF has been kept unchanged at 3.35%.
3. The marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate have been kept unchanged at 4.25%.

3. सीमांत स्थायी सुविधा (MSF) दर और बैंक दर को 4.25% पर अपरिवर्तित रखा गया है।

Sharan village in Kullu district of Himachal is included in the 10 villages in the country which have been selected as handloom villages. Himachali shawls and caps are world famous. Kullu and Kinnauri shawls have been reserved by the Government of India under the Handloom Protection Act. Both products are patented. The CM thanked the Union Minister for agreeing to develop Sharan village as a handloom village near Naggar, a heritage village in Kullu.
